the idea behind publicolor is simple: paint public schools to show students and investment in their environment, and subsequently, their education.
"Our mission is to use color, collaboration, design and the painting process to empower students to transform themselves, their schools, and their communities. We do this by teaching innercity students the marketable skill of commerical painting, which itself can break the cycle of poverty, then uniquely empower students to transform their own school's environment and that of nearby community sites."
